Honda opened their first motorcycle shop in the California, and followed up by opening another 75 motorcycle dealerships throughout the United States during the year of 1960. Aside from being one of the top manufacturers of Honda Motorcycle, Honda also helped create the Motorcycle Industry Council as well as the Motorcycle Safety Council, which was made possible by funding that they supplied to get these organizations off the ground.
